PixiTracker is a musical application created by Alexander Zolotov for composing music in a simple and fun way. It is available for iOS (iPhone, iPad), Android, OSX, Windows, Linux, Windows Mobile (WinCE) and other systems.

Syllabus

 

Learning PixiTracker Basics

• Making music loop

• Making multiple bars of drum loop and music

• Sound input on tracks 

• Adjusting Velocity 

• Adjusting Tempo

• Importing own sound wav file

• Altering wav file

• Exporting own music loop to waveform audio

 

 

Through the music making session, students will also learn about:-

• Rhythm

• Timbres and Instrumentation

• Dynamics 

• Keys and scales

• Basic chord progression

• Transpose pitch

• Fill-in pattern

 

 

At the end of the term, student should be able to create different genres of beats, such as:-

• Pop and Rock 

• Waltz 

• Shuffle/ Jazz Swing 

• Last but not least, their own fun beatS!

Course Structure

​

There will be 11 lessons for 1 term, students with or without music background are eligible to register:-

 

Age: 

• Group A: 5 years old to 7 years old

• Group B: 7 years old to 12 years old

• Group C: 12 years old and above

 

Lesson Fees: $400 per term (approximately 3 months)

 

Number of students: limit to max 4 students only

(under safe distancing measurement)

Lesson duration: 50min+- per lesson.

Lesson timing: to be confirmed 

Lesson will be conducted once a week 

 

No lesson on public holiday and Happy Notes holiday

There is no free trial lesson for this course, but parents/ students are welcome to sign up and pay for one initial lesson and decide after the first lesson.
